This past week, we traveled 8 hours to go to Bear Lake in Idaho to spend Thanksgiving with Nate's family at the Gray Family Cabin. We were with Nate's parents, his sister Sydney and her family, his sister Breecia and her two kids, as well as his Aunt and Uncle and their five kids and one son-in-law, AND Nate's grandpa. Talk about a big family thanksgiving! We had so much fun. We went shooting in the canyon on Thanksgiving in about 14 degree weather. It was my first time shooting a gun, and it was tons of fun! We had a nice, big dinner, and vegged out a bit. The next day, we took Landon sledding for the first time, which he LOVED. And we also had a gingerbread house contest. I was a team captain, and I got on a team with Alexis (Nate's niece, 13) and Carter (Nate's cousin, 10). Our house was super cute and we got the award for Best Effort! We had lots of fun decorating, and eating the candy too, of course. We hung out a ton, and played games and watched some football and basketball. It was overall a really good weekend.
It was really nice to be with so much family, and it was such a good reminder of everything we have to be thankful for. I am so thankful for my happy, healthy baby boy. And my amazing Fiance and father of my son, who takes such amazing care of us every day. I am also thankful for all of the love and support we have from both of our families. I am thankful that we are all healthy. I am thankful for all of my friends who have been there for us both. And I am very thankful for my son being soooo good in the car for 8 hours both ways! :)
