September is gone already?!

Wow! This month has flown past me! Sorry for slacking on the posts. But, you know, being a mom, wifey (sort of), student, babysitter, and everything else really takes up a lot of my free time these days!

Anyways. Our month has been a good one. School is going great for me. Keeping up and staying on top of things. I don't think I've gotten less than a B on anything at all so far, so that's a good thing! Nathan has been working a whole lot. And we've been trying to spend as much family time together as we can. Landon keeps on growing and growing. He will be 9-months on Monday, which is just so crazy for me to think about. But you can hear about that next week. I'll stop boring you with the little details and just get to the pictures from the month already. :)

Our First Trip to the Zoo!

 First Official Injury...
Mommy and Daddy weren't paying good enough attention and left him sitting in a child sized chair on the deck. We were sitting on either side of him, but we both failed to watch or catch as he faceplanted and scraped him nose and forehead real good on the decking. Boy was he mad! I felt so sad for him!

The day after, all scabbed up. But he was still a happy boy! He's my little trooper!

Climbing and having a blast at Little Monkey Bizness for Hyland's Birthday

 He loves slides!
The weather has been extra nice this month, so we've been spending a lot of our time outside and especially going to parks! It is such a blast now that he is big enough to actually laugh and smile and enjoy it!

Playing in the water at the park with Hyland and Lola.

Hugs and Kisses from Cousin Lola! :)

Bath Time! Look at those cute butts!

Day Two at the park with Lola!

He has been favoring his daddy lately. :)
 Sweet Hairs!

Poor Baby! They put him in Lola's butterfly shirt!

8-Months-Old!

The closer and closer we get to one year, the more and more bittersweet it becomes. Ughhh... get used to hearing this every month from now on.

Anyways, my baby boy doesn't seem like such a baby anymore. He is huge. Not sure exactly on the weight or length, but he is at least 22lbs I'm assuming. It's getting so hard to lug him around everywhere. As much as I don't want it to happen, I'm getting ready for him to start walking. He is still eating a ton, I don't think that will ever change. He is getting more and more interested in what we are eating, and less interested in what he is eating. So we have started to let him snack off of our plates. He really enjoys chicken salad, french fries, pretzels (minus the salt), bread, guacamole, and plenty more I'm sure. There isn't much that he won't eat! He has mastered crawling, and is pulling up on everything he can. He is holding on to the side of the furniture and things, and walking around the furniture. So I'm sure walking isn't going to be far off. He has learned to clap when we say "Yay Landon!" which is just the cutest thing ever. He also claps when he falls on his butt after standing up. Like he wants to say "Yay me! I didn't hurt myself!" He's still only got two teeth, but I have a strong feeling the top two aren't far off. He has been mega-cranky most days and chews on anything and everything! The end table in our living room is proof. He pulls up onto it, and chews on the side, so there are little teeth marks everywhere. We are working on using "No" more and more. I know he probably can't understand it yet, but we figured we would start to introduce it to try to keep him out of trouble. It seems like today he is actually starting to catch on some. Or at least thats what I like to think. My little man loves the grass these days, and being outside, and watching the trees blow. We took him to the zoo last weekend, and it seems like he was only interested in the trees! Our big guy has also started to develop a little bit of stranger anxiety. It isn't bad yet, but occasionally he gets scared and upset when other people hold him. He has also decided lately that he is quite the Momma's Boy, which I have no problem with, of course. He always wants me, if he sees me in the room, he's coming to get me. And he gets upset sometimes when I hand him off to do something. Some days it is frustrating for me, but even more so for his daddy. We are working on it though! Hopefully it won't last long.

Baby Einstein's is over, so Landon is at my side wanting on the computer. So adios for now! :)

Our monthly photo shoots are becoming increasingly harder...

... as you can see.

Almost...

As good as it gets this month!
